Prior to joining Primus Grace, Hannah has worked with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Abuja (Legal, Licensing & Enforcement Division) (NERC), the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State as well as with leading construction companies in Nigeria.

  • Tax advisory services including interfacing with relevant tax authorities on matters related to mining and extraction activities generally;
  • Securing Drone Usage Security Permit from the Nigerian Army, and the Ministry of Interior for a very reputable client;
  • Reviewing Pre-qualification and Post-qualification for Tender documents between the Company as a Contractor and Parastatals of the Federal Government of Nigeria such as; the Bureau of Public Procurements, Industrial Training Fund, Pensions Commission, National Social Insurance Training Fund, amongst others;
  • Facilitating, drafting and reviewing relevant commercial agreements as well as ensuring closure of transactions between leading construction companies and the Nigeria Erosion Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs (MNDA), Niger Delta Development Commission, Ecological Fund Office, World Bank Assisted Projects;
  • Participating in matters involving Advance Payment Guarantee (APG), Bid Security, Bond;
  • Rendering legal opinion on diverse matters, Intermediary and support services to various internal departments of clients’ companies on legal issues that arise from time to time;
  • Ensuring compliance with Bill of Engineering Measurements Evaluation (BEME) and Projects Contracts Agreements;
  • Arbitration settlements on dispute arising from contract agreements between clients and third parties;

  • Provision of cutting-edge legal advisory services to NERC in relation to the several cases involving the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission instituted by aggrieved customers arising from the application of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act 2005 (EPSRA);
  • Issuing Licenses to persons interested in generating, transmitting, distributing, system operations, and trading of electricity in Nigeria;
  • Issuing Permits to persons interested in generating power for own use, that is, captive power generation, in Nigeria;
  • Issuing permits and monitoring companies with captive power plants;
  • Monitoring operators to ensure compliance with the EPSRA;
  • Issuing Certificates to persons interested in installing, vending, importing, and/or manufacturing of metering systems in Nigeria;
  • Monitoring licensed operators in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI);
  • Reviewing Court Processes filed by External Solicitors cases involving NERC instituted before Courts of Record in Nigeria;
